Bullets fly, cars explode and armoured vehicles run riot in a nonstop cacophony that numbs the brain.
The plot has a shaky foundation that doesn’t stand up to close scrutiny. The movie also suffers from a lack of empathy for the characters. For example, Captain Freddie thinks it’s his destiny to save India, but he has no idea how many lives he will end up sacrificing along the way. And he’s so obsessed with his mission that he’s willing to abandon his partner, Rocky, who doesn’t share the same level of enthusiasm.
In addition to the erratic editing and the wildly over-the-top action, the film also has several plot holes. One such hole is the scene where Rocky and Freddie infiltrate a terrorist base. In the middle of a big firefight, a rocket hits a tent — but instead of burning up the actor several meters away, the tent and the ground around it explode simultaneously.
